Also, is the name of the map you were asked to install manually, for instance WesternEurope. Open the following folder: My Documents TomTom HOME Download complete map.
You see a folder with the name of the map you were trying to install, for instance 'WesternEurope'. NOTE: These instructions are for the built-in extraction program, so they could vary depending on the extraction program that is installed on your computer. Also, is the name of the map you were asked to install manually, e.g.
WesternEurope. Open the following folders: Documents TomTom HOME Download complete map. You will see a folder with the name of the map you were trying to install, for instance 'WesternEurope'. Open this folder. Right-click on the following file.ZIP and click extract to. Name the new folder exactly the same as the.ZIP file, but without.ZIP, for instance WesternEurope or TheNetherlandsBelgiumandLuxembourg. Extract the following file to the same folder: Activation.CAB, for instance ActivationWesternEurope112.CAB.
Right-click on the new folder and click Copy. Click Start Computer and double-click the removable drive which is your TomTom navigation device.
Click Edit Paste and wait until the computer has finished copying the folder onto your TomTom navigation device. NOTE: Depending on the size of the map and speed of your computer, this can take a few hours to complete.
