The problem I have now is programming. The installation manual is not very clear as to the programming method.The things I need to know how to program (preferably in a key press format, as its easier to understand) are.1.
Setting zone 4 as a fire zone2. Changing the entry exit delay to a lower number ie. 10 seconds instead of the standard 50 seconds3. Changing the communicator format to allow the unit to dial my cell phone4.
Changing the code from 4 digits to 6 digits5. Changing which zones are entry/exit zonesif these could be provided in a key press format, it would be most appreciated.The only other problem I have is when i try to bypass zone 3 (the zone for my bedroom), as soon as the exit delay is over the alarm immediately sounds, which means I cannot arm the system at night.If you can help me with these problems, it would be most appreciated. So nobody has any idea to help me simplify the programming procedure????The only reason i'm asking is that the installation manual isn't very clear on the procedure needed.If someone could explain it to me in an easier (ie. Keypress) manner for even one of the functions I would be able to pick it up fairly easily, thus allowing me to program the rest of the features I require.I have emailed direct alarm supplies in Australia (the distibutor from which the original owner aquired the alarm) but so far no reply.So please someone must be able to help me. The previous owner had disconnected themonitoring service and left no instructions as to the use of the alarm. He has asked me can I do something with it.He does not want it monitored just stand alone.I have been able to get a copy of an installation manual which I think came from the CADDX site and have found that the programming addresses are not the same.Can somebody out there help me with a DAS version of the manual??????Regards,Garry.
